"Mirror Placeholder" files can be used to prevent a file or folder on the remote server from being deleted or replaced.
This can be helpful when you are mirroring your web pages to the server and you do not wish to mirror the images folder, because they have not been changed. You may wish to create a separate mirror bookmark for your images folder.
To enable this functionality:
1) make a copy of the "Mirror Placeholder" file.
2) rename it to the file or folder you wish NetFinder to leave untouched.
3) copy the file to the location of your local files which are to be mirrored to the server.
eg
Server

+- images ["mirror placeholder" file, renamed to "images"]
This example illustrates how to leave the images folder on the server untouched.
